This digital accessibility statement applies to the website www.gasometer-pforzheim.de(https://www.gasometer-pforzheim.de).

The Gasometer Pforzheim endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

The website is largely compatible with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Numerous measures for digital accessibility have already been successfully implemented. Individual technical optimizations are currently still in progress.

Existing barriers

The following content is not yet fully accessible:

- Some PDF files (e.g. event or visitor information) are not yet accessible.

- There are currently still empty links (“Empty Links”) and redundant link titles (“Redundant Titles”) in the header and footer

- Redundant links occur in parts of the website - e.g. multiple linked elements with the same destination.

- Individual color contrasts, especially on the homepage, do not yet meet the contrast ratio according to WCAG AA.

These points are known and have already been handed over to the agency in charge for technical revision.

This statement was created on the basis of a self-assessment using testing tools such as WAVE, internal WCAG checklists and manual tests.
